My name is Robin, I have aged to a glorious age of 40 thus far. I am a mother of four amazingly different kiddos. One bio baby and three heart babies! We adopted three kiddos all from the Colorado Foster Care system 6 years ago and have been on the ride of our lives ever since! The adoption journey is a long one, a hard one, an emotional one, and at times a lonely one. I have been told multiple times, while sharing stories of our trials and triumphs, that I should write it down as to not forget it. So I thought, what better way than in a blog! This way, I might find fellow journeymen that are on this path with me. Maybe I can help some along that have yet to reach the destination I have, and maybe I will be helped by others that have gone beyond my current stop off! Either way, I will have the memories of my journey in the years to come. I hope you enjoy my stories and can join with me in the hurts, the healing, and the journey!
So proud of you! Can’t wait to read more!

Thank you for this, adopted 2 kids from foster care as toddlers and these last 5 yrs have been so difficult; I think harder now than ever, even after all the therapy… I relate so much to this & have the same fears.

We have to have reminders the damage wasn’t caused my us and most likely won’t be healed 100% by us. Keep up the good work. You are a great momma!!!
